Health Guarantee:  If with in 72 hours after the sale/pickup, the puppy is examined by a licensed veterinarian (at buyers expense) and is found to be physically unsound (unrelated to illness, or injury after time/date of sale), the living puppy and its registration papers must be returned “at buyers expense” within the said 72 hours of the purchase date/time with a written statement from the licensed veterinarian stating in what respect the puppy is physically unsound.   Then and only then will the puppy be replaced, if possible.  If the puppy cannot be replaced at said time.  The buyer will be refunded the purchase price less the deposit.

 

The guarantee regarding hip dysplasia is as follows;

 

<  The buyer and seller agree that degrees of hip dysplasia are influenced by genetics, diet, exercise and exertion, and that many/most large breed dogs have some form of hip dysplasia.  Having said, the guarantee hip dysplasia must be acted upon within the dogs first year were by the major influence will have been genetics.  After the dogs first birthday the seller is held harmless due to the fact that diet exercise and exertion may have influenced the degree of hip dysplasia.

 

< If within the first year of life the dog is found to have a moderate form of congenital hip dysplasia defined were in as Penn Hip scores of both a score of .90 or higher on each hip and “moderate” listed On the Penn Hip report the buyer will be allowed to keep the before mentioned dog as long as the dog is kept comfortable and is sexually altered.

 

Hip Dysplasia to be initially determined by video of walking and running dog along with copies of Penn Hip and OFA X-rays and reports. (All at the buyer’s expense) sent to seller.

 

The final determination of moderate hip dysplasia is to be the unanimous agreement of two licensed veterinarians agreeable to both parties.  One of these veterinarians to be board certified in the applicable specialty, who will review both a Penn Hip and OFA (at buyer expense).

 

Cost of all aforementioned opinions and test to be assumed by the buyer.

 

 

The altering procedure is to be performed by a licensed veterinarian. Written documentation upon altering completion is to be sent to seller certified mail.  Altering is not to be conducted until approved in writing by the seller.   Altering the dog prior to seller approval will render this health guarantee null and void.  Altering and documentation mailing is at the (expense of the buyer).

 

Puppies sold as “Pet Quality” are not eligible for the aforementioned guarantee for “Moderate” hip Dysplasia.

 

 

< If within the first year the dog is found to have a “Severe” form of congenital hip dysplasia defined were in as Penn Hip scores of both a score of 1.0 or higher on each hip and “Severe” listed on reports in addition an expert who is board certified in canine orthopedics stating that in his/her opinion this dogs hips are so “Severe” that he/she must be euthanized by his/her first birthday. Euthanasia will not be conducted until approved in writing by seller.  Same documentation and method of determination applies as stated above but provided documentation of euthanasia rather then altering (All at buyer’s expense).  Then and only then will seller replace said dog if possible.  If the dog can not be replaced with in 6 months of said dog euthanasia, the buyer will be refunded purchased price less the deposit.

 

< There is no guarantee for minor/mild hip dysplasia (defined herein as 0.89 in each hip as identified by Penn Hip or .089 one hip and higher in the other) or any form of congenital joint disease or degenerative joint disease.

< There is no guarantee for “moderate” hip dysplasia for “Pet Quality” pups

Not for any reason after dogs first birthday will replacement be issued or purchase price and deposit be refunded.

 

There is no guarantee against demodex mange or any other kind of mange, allergies or pymoderma.

 

 

There is no guarantee for umbilical hernia.  Diagnosis of umbilical hernia will not be considered “unsound”.

 

There is no guarantee for adult temperament/behavior.  Adult temperament/behavior is determined by life style, environment, and training (all provided by buyer).
